Woodsfield Parade Postponed

Due to the forecast of rain, the date of the Woodsfield Vietnam Welcome Home Parade has been moved to Saturday, November 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m.. Line up for the parade will be at the city park at 12:15 p.m. – 12:30 p.m..

Free Flu Shots for Veterans

The Monroe County Veterans office will be sponsoring free flu shots for veterans. Veterans can receive a flu shot at the Monroe County Health Department November 10, 2022 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.

Monroe County WWII Vets to be on TV

Turn in to the WTRF special “Veteran’s Voices: Honoring those who serve” to watch an interview of the three remaining World War II Monroe County Veterans; George Cook, Ray Norris and Glen Stalder. This interview will air on the following schedule.
