The Monroe County Veterans Office will be offering a $500.00 death benefit to the families of Monroe County veterans. This benefit will be eligible to those who were discharged under conditions other than dishonorable and applies to active duty, National Guard and reserve components. Please contact our office for more information on how to apply.
Veterans in attendance are encouraged to participate in opening and closing flag ceremonies. Veterans are also honored with a special dance.
