Part-Time Transportation Driver

The Transportation Driver will safely transport veterans who rely on the Veterans Service Office to and from medical appointments. They will be responsible for client scheduling, maintaining necessary log books and records, vehicle inspection, scheduling of maintenance and keeping a clean vehicle. Because of the highly confidential nature, scope, and complexity of the work the position requires good verbal communication and a flexible schedule. A valid driver’s license, the ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical and the ability to learn operations and policies of the Veterans Service Office and the Disabled American Veterans transportation programs are also required. Applicants must have served in the military or be an immediate family member of a veteran.
