Monroe County Veterans Office to provide a free breakfast for Monroe County Veterans on November 9, 2023 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. The Monroe County Health Department will also be available that day for veterans that wish to get a free flu shot.
The Monroe County Veteran’s Service Commission offers six one-time $1,000 scholarships to Monroe County high school seniors who complete the Americanism test administered by the American Legion. Applications due November 1st. Please see our website for more information.

family member of a veteran, have a valid driver’s license and be able to pass
