The Monroe County Veterans Office is please to host a lunch and learn seminar. Information will be provided about how to prepare for the death of a veteran. Also what benefits are available for the veteran and next of kin after a veteran has passed. 11:00 am June 20, 2024 at Monroe County Hall of Heroes.
The Monroe County Veterans Office will be CLOSED Monday May 13 – Friday May 17 for staff development. Please use the night drop box near the entrance to drop off paperwork. Travel vouchers will be available inside the main entrance door.
Your Veteran Service Officer will be at the MHRB Mental Health Fair. Stop by if you have any questions about what services are provided by the VA.
Honor Flight Columbus is a nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring America’s senior veterans with a trip to Washington DC to visit their service and war memorials. These trips are free of charge to any veteran age 65 or older with at least one day of active-duty service. For more information visit www.honorflightcmh.org.
