DESCRIPTION:Due to conflict in schedule April’s Veteran Commission meeting will be moved to Monday April 27.\nThe Commission meets on the last Tuesday of the month to oversee the operation of the Monroe County Veterans Service Office and is responsible to ensure that veterans and their eligible family members receive all benefits, federal, state, and local, to which they may be entitled. These meetings are open to the public. Anyone has the right to be added to the meeting agenda, which gives that person 20 minutes to state his/her case or address concerns. Anyone not listed on the agenda is given 5 minutes.\n
